Works best with

Logos, silhouettes and high-contrast drawings. A photo with gradients is not cut as a vector: use the "Photo for engraving" mode for those.

For cutting or engraving

"Outline" creates thin red strokes (cut layer). "Fill" creates black areas (engraving layer). "Both" creates the two separate layers so you can assign different powers.

Tips

For color logos use "By colors": each color goes to its own layer. Raise the threshold if details are missing and lower it if there are specks. If you cut letters with holes (O, A, B), remember the inner islands fall out: add bridges in your cutting software.
